MALAYSIA

The Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak are witnesses to early civilization as proven by archeological remains discovered throughout these islands. From the mid to late 1st millennium, the Malay archipelago to a great extent is under the influence of Srivijaya.
During the 2nd and 3rd centuries, approximately 30 Malay kingdoms emerged and flourished. By the 15th century, the dynasty founded by Sultan Iskandar formed the Malacca Sultanate. It conquered peninsular Malaysia, southern Thailand, and the eastern cost of Sumatra and Malacca became a very important port in Southeast Asia.
In 1786, the British established its first colony and took control of Malacca by 1824 after the Anglo-Dutch Treat of 1824 which divides the Malay Archipelago between Britain and the Netherlands.
In 1946, the Malayan Union was constituted and all of British possessions in Malaya except for Singapore were all dissolved and replaced by the Federation of Malaya in 1948.
From early 1980s to mid 1990s, Malaysia saw major economic development under the government of Mahathir bin Mohamad.

Bahasa Malaysia – the official Language,

English is spoken by most Malaysians in varying degrees. Malaysia is a former British colony and English is taught in most schools.

People in Malaysia are called Malaysians. The adjective Malaysian refers to the people of Malaysia and can mean Chinese, Indians and Malays.
Malays are predominantly Muslim ethnic group that make up the large portion of populations in Malaysia. Malays make over the majority group in the country followed by
the Chinese and then the Indians, and then there are the other smaller groups of people like Sikhs too, who are a present in a very small number. Malays are mostly
Muslims. Most Ethnic Chinese are a majority Non-Muslim and then the Indian who are Hindus and those who are Muslims too

PROHIBITIONS IN MALAYSIA

Malaysia is one among the two Asian countries that
don’t want sex toys in their country.
The Islamic state’s laws prohibit any “pornographic
material” , which includes magazines, DVDs, books,
and sex toys.

TRANSFERS

TRAIN TRANSFER

Travellers have the option to either take the Train the city with KLIA’s train service called the KLIA EXPRESS, which connects to the Main Transport hub in the City, KL Sentral at an approx. cost of 55RM one way. The non-stop 57 km ERL route journey on KLIA Express between KL Sentral and KLIA takes only about 28 minutes of travel duration. KLIA Express train service is available every 15 minutes during peak hours and every 20 minutes during off-peak. Train service is provided every 30 minutes after midnight.

Airport Bus Coach

The AIRPORT COACH provides bus services between KL
Sentral and KLIA Bus Station. Airport Coach starts operating its services at KLIA bus station at 6:00 am until the last bus at 12:30 am.
The KLIA Bus Station is only 3 min walk from the arrival hall.
The cost of a one way ticket will cost the traveller less than
15RM one way and it take an hour to cover the distance to the city or way back to the Airport

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE

BATU CAVES

The cave is one of the most popular Tamil shrines outside
India, and is dedicated to Lord Murugan, the God of War.
It is a very popular tourist attractions in KL.

GENTING HIGHLAND

Genting Highlands is a high-altitude hill resort in Malaysia, 45 mins drive from KL, comprises hotels, a shopping mall, restaurants and the Casino de Genting. Genting Skyway, a cable car, connects the resort to the plateau. Genting Highlands also offers a indoor and outdoor theme park, also adventure activities like indoor rock climbing, flying fox activities are available.
The highlight of the Genting Day trip is the Cable car ride to the Hill Resort.

ISLAND HOPPINGTOUR

Travellers will be brought to three islands around Langkawi in a motor boat, the Pregnant Maiden Island and Pulau Beras Basah.
A dive into the cool deep Pregnant Maiden Lake is a must. The tours take 4 hours and is an enjoyable one

EAGLESQUARE

Dataran Lang that is also popular as the Eagle Square is
one of the most known manmade attraction in Langkawi.
It is a huge sculpture of an eagle poised to take flight. It
is the ideal place for those postcard-perfect holiday
photos courtesy its fancy miniature fountains, terraces
and bridges.
Eagle Square is open 24 hours however the best time to
visit the place is certainly early in the morning or late in
the evening when sun is at its best. The local shops offer
a great shopping experience, Travellers can buy local
stuff from these outlets.

Saint Paul's Church

Saint Paul’s Church is a historic church building in Malacca City, Malaysia, that was originally built from 1566 to 1590. It is the oldest European building east of India. It is located on the summit of 
St. Paul’s Hill.

Every year, the church will be used for feast day mass on the first Saturday of December in honour of the feast day of St Francis Xavier. The tradition was started by a priest from the church of St francis Xavier Melaka since 1922.

STRAITS MALACCA MOSQUE

Malacca Straits Mosque  is a mosque located on the man-made Malacca Island in Malacca CityMalaccaMalaysia, which was opened on 24 November 2006 by the Supreme Ruler of Malaysia (Yang di-Pertuan AgongTuanku Syed Sirajuddin Syed Putra Jamalullail and was constructed with a cost of about MYR10 million. It was built using the mix of Middle Eastern and Malay craftsmanship and looks like a floating structure when the water level is high. Its structure has two intersecting archways lead to the main entrance and stained glass which covers the space in between the arches. The mosque compound has a 30-metre tall minaret that is also used as a lighthouse.
