The dong has been the currency of Vietnam since 3 May 1978. It is issued by the State Bank of Vietnam. The dong was also the currency of the predecessor states of North Vietnam and South Vietnam, having replaced the previously used French Indochinese piastre.

VISA

Vietnam’s e-visa is one of several visa types offered by the Vietnam Immigration Department to foreigners entering the country. The e-visa is valid for 90 days, and multiple entry. As of 15th August 2023, Vietnam’s evisa is available to all countries/territories around the world.
